A unit for use under extreme conditions. The Office 160pro represents state-of-the-art telecommunications in its most robust form. The digital cordless handset is able to withstand knocks and is protected against dust and splash water. Thus you have a communications tool available that is always ready for the job in hand.

Everything loud and clear.
The handset has two built-in loudspeakers. The first is used for conversation and its volume can be adjusted using two extremely ergonomic keys. The second loudspeaker, which is oriented upwards, indicates incoming calls and when used with a belt clip permits the signal to be easily heard. If you have just finished a call when a new call comes in, this specially directed loudspeaker also protects your hearing. The Office 160pro is also ideal for hands-free use, if for instance you would like someone else to hear and take part in the conversation. For use in particularly noisy environments, specially protected earphones are available as an optional extra so that even under such conditions you can easily hold a conversation.

Keep your hands free.
The hands-free function with volume control and the various optional earphones and headsets – with and without additional soundproofing – permit hands-free telephoning with an excellent acoustic speech quality. This significantly increases productivity and in particular the safety in a wide range of working situations.

See it or feel it ring?
Missed calls from colleagues or customers are a thing of the past with the Office 160pro. An easily seen LED lamp and an optionally activated vibrator permit a call to be indicated non-acoustically. Particularly beneficial during a meeting when you have activated the discrete call facility or under noisy conditions. It is also possible to send text messages. A distinct advantage here: The large permanently lit display can be easily read at all times – even when the telephone is on the charging station.

Always available.
Integrated in the Ascotel IntelliGate telecommunications system, the Office 160pro takes full advantage of the benefits of digital telecommunications. You can always be contacted wherever you are on the company premises and can always make a call. The seamless transfer from one radio station to the next is a matter of fact with this handset (automatic handover). In conjunction with a fixed Office telephone station you can take advantage of the ingenious twin comfort function. As long as the Office 160pro is in the charging station, all new calls go directly to the desktop telephone. As soon as you leave the office and take the Office 160pro out of the charging station, all calls are automatically diverted to the Office 160pro. Back in the office, you simply place the Office 160pro on its charging station and the desktop telephone once again takes over the control.

Alarms are multifarious.
The performance of the Ascotel IntelliGate alarm functions are versatile as well. Is a security door open? Has a problem arisen on the conveyor belt? Is an important package ready to be picked up? Is assistance required from emergency or nursing staff? The Office 160pro is fully integrated in the alarm solution and with its large display is particularly suited to this application. The red hotkey, which can also be used to generate an alarm, rounds off the application possibilities in this field.
