Twenty-one years ago, Nigel & I started Time Communications.
We had both worked in telecoms for many years, but we wanted to start a business that offered a ‘telephony solution’ for our clients rather than just an opportunity for them to ‘buy a phone system’!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our clients new and old, we really appreciate your trust. We’d also like to thank our staff and our suppliers who’ve worked so hard with us, we really appreciate you too!
Twenty-one years ago, analogue telephony was giving way to Digital ISDN. In 2022 we are faced with migrating Digital telephony to Cloud Telephony because of the ISDN Shutdown.
BT have already started moving their services from the old public switched network (PSTN), so that all telephone calls will need to be routed over IP (internet protocol) and this has to be done before Openreach stop the PSTN (and ISDN) services in 2025.
Whilst many organisations have already adopted IP (Cloud) telephony, the majority haven’t and for them, there is some planning to do. This major upgrade will not affect just telephone calls, it also impacts on alarm / security lines, EPOS machines, CCTV, faxes and even door entry systems.
‘Hybrid Working’ is the new normal; for clients with two to three handsets to multisite businesses with workers located in a head office, satellite offices, at home, overseas or on mobile devices – Cloud Telephony offers a low cost, very flexible and a future proof method of communicating.
Whilst we are still working with clients who joined us in 2001 and every year since then, we’d love to welcome new clients on board.
The technology we offer is leading edge, however our way of working is set by our many years of experience. We will ask plenty of questions about you, your business and what is important to you. We will prepare and present our ‘solution’ to you making as many amendments as are required – and if you choose to work with us then rest assured, we will work hard to make the transition to ‘Cloud’ as seamless as possible.
